SHADOWS

The shadows on this succulent is less noticeable. You can still see how light is reflected on the upper leaves, but there is more contrast on the lower levels and in the middle.

This photograph of the city shows shadows on only part of the buildings. The different shades also add to the contrast/shadows of this photo.

I like the lighting on half of Benji's face, and that his eyes are especially dark with how the light darkened parts of his face. There is also a light shadow on the wall behind him from his figure.

I decided not to darken this photo because it already had a lot of contrast and i think it was interesting how the light naturally made some plants look more prominent.

There are two aspects of shadows in this photo; the shadow of my arm as i was taking the picture (in the lower right corner), and the shadows from the different textures and heights of the wood. I love how focused this photo is on the wood, and it is easier to see the shadows because of the sharpness of this picture.

This photograph was taken near Drew, of one of the trees. The lines and cracks in the sidewalk also add to this photo.

When i took this photo, it was a sunny day, which already made the shadows of the windows appear on the ground. I played around with different shapes and shadows, but i chose this photo because of how delicate the hand looks and how even it's minimal appearance adds a lot to the photo.

I took this photo from the window in a parking lot downtown. I added to the darkness and the contrast in this photo to make the shadows more clear. I like that the buildings in this photograph seem to get lighter and they become father away.

The flowers on the wall at Drew made an interesting shadow, and there are also interesting ones that were not made from the flowers. The flowers are very delicate and, even though it is a shadow, you can still see a lot of the details in the plant.

I decided to choose this angle for the bike shadow because you could see some of the tire, which makes it more obvious it is a bike. And, you can still see the shadows from the pedals and chains, which makes the photo more interesting.
